My name is Lorraine Schiller and making art has always been my happy place. I have always been inspired by the beauty of flowers; their color, form, variety and meanings have been themes of my artwork for years. Floriography (or the language of flowers) and flower symbolism is often used in my work. Themes of redemption, love and positivity are woven into the work with care and deep thought.
The beauty and meaning of flowers help me visually communicate stories and ideas in a way that touch the heart and please the eyes. I often work in series to get across my ideas, as well as creating commissions for my customers.
I grew up in central Massachusetts and currently reside in beautiful Colorado with my husband and two kids. In addition to my art, I am a homeschooling mama and am pursuing writing and illustrating children's books! Faith and family are important to me and flows in all I do as an artist!
Something I love to do is work with others to create custom art! My goal is to keep the process of ordering a personalized and custom painting fun and easy. Having a custom piece of art created for oneself or to give as a gift is extremely special. I want my collectors to enjoy the process of working with an artist, watching their request turn into a beautiful piece of art, just as great as receiving the final product! I love getting to know my collectors and weaving their likes, loves and style into the work!
